Solution/How to Fix : Memory card Corrupted

Many of them don’t know the solution for “memory card corrupted”. If you see “memory card corrupted” don’t be sad.The main cause of this problem is due to canceling or removing memory card while transferring date from a computer and mobile devices or card reader. In this post i will gives you some solutions to fix this problem. Note that ” There is no solution for physically damaged memory card”.

Problems

1 Memory card can be read but not accessed

This problem arise when you remove memory card or interrupt the data transfer. While interrupting data transfer the writing data on the on memory in unusual way due to this we cant access memory card.

How to Fix

Step 1 : Insert your memory card in a card reader or any other device.

Step 2 : Connect your device to computer.

Step 3 : Then check memory card shows up in File Explorer

Step 4 : Open Comment prompt then type ” chkdsk H: /r”( Note here H is the drive name that you see in My computer).

Step 5 :Wait some time. If it asks to “convert lost chains to files”, type “y” for yes.

 

2 Memory card shows invalid file system (RAW)

This problem arise when file system on the memory card damaged. The solution is simple format. Follow these steps to format

Step 1 : Insert your memory card in a card reader or any other device.

Step 2 : Connect your device to computer.

Step 3 : Then right click on the drive then click format.

Step 4 : Set the file system to “FAT”, not use FAT32, NTFS, exFAT  Leave the allocation unit size as it is and don’t use “Quick format”.

Step 5 : Click Format ( Wait for some time)

Step 6 : After completing format process click OK.

 

 3 Memory card cannot be read by PC

This problem can be easily fix. Solution is that you want to update your driver of your PC manufacture. Alternate solution is given below follow that steps.

Step 1 : Insert your memory card in a card reader or any other device.

Step 2 : Connect your device to computer.

Step 3 : Then open control panel -> Device manager (Look for any devices that show up with a yellow exclamation mark ‘!’ ).

Step 4 : Then right click on that driver -> automatically update ( Other ways uninstall the driver -> Restart your computer-> plug in your device.
